In 2015 UBAS and the Budget Division spent a great deal of time and energy with the
See.Spark.Go firm to more closely connect with the UGA mission, the F&A mission, and
to identify our strengths and explore the service culture of our organization. This
work resulted in tangible deliverables such as the onboarding video, the communications
tool box, and department specific activities and outward displays of our service orientation.
The Spark Committee consists of representatives from UBAS and the Budget Division. Our
mission is to set in motion a long-term culture and communications strategy that will
allow for continued growth and ongoing enhancements in our organization. We will accomplish
this through identifying methods for continuous evaluation and improvement of service-oriented
culture and communication, new opportunities for enhancement of service-oriented culture
and communication, making recommendations and proposals to leadership to implement
these methods and ideas, and working with UBAS and Budget Division leadership and
staff to implement approved proposals.
